Futuremark Games Studio, normally associated with AAA PC games on Steam, has been dabbling in the world of mobile gaming recently with its announcement of sci-fi tower defence game Unstoppable Gorg for iPad.
Today, though, we received some more details on its latest incursion into iOS territory, the physics-based puzzler Hungribles.
In Hungribles, players fire little balls of light into the waiting maws of a cast of hungry critters, with ricochets, gravity fields, and different types of catapaults spicing up the affair.
The cast of characters is arguably on a cuteness par with Cut The Rope’s Om Nom, as the kitten Chops, the pig / dog Dibs, the bird Izzy, and the tortoise Bonker (among others) produce adorable sound effects at a disarming rate.
Hungribles will be coming to the App Store on Thursday, and will be a Universal app.
It'll cost you £1.49 / $1.99 / €1.59 when it launches in 48 hours or so - in the meantime, check out the launch trailer below.
