The rest of LG's 2011 phone line-up revealed
Which one are you getting?
The yet-to-be-released devices in LG's 2011 line-up have been revealed.
Seven new devices will be gracing a phone store near you over the next five months, including one running Windows Phone Mango, the upcoming major update to Microsoft's mobile OS.
There's a dual-cored beast for all you power-hungry consumers out there, an entry-level handset for those who just want to talk, and a bunch of mid-range Android devices for you robot fans.
Check 'em out below.
LG Prada K2The K2 is the most powerful device on the list, packing a dual-core processor.
If power isn't your thing, though, it's also equipped with a 4.3-inch NOVA LCD display, two cameras - a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera and an eight-megapixel rear-facing snapper - and 16GB of internal storage.
When it arrives this holiday season, you'll even be treated to a festive Gingerbread, aka Android 2.3.
LG UnivaThe spiritual upgrade to the Optimus One comes complete with an ample 800MHz processor, a 3.5-inch screen, and Google's Android Gingerbread OS.
It also comes packing a five-megapixel camera for all of those future cringeworthy Facebook memories. Yeh, I can picture 'em now.
LG FantasyThe LG Fantasy is the only phone on the list to be powered by Mango, the next major iteration of the Windows Phone operating system.
Very little is known about the Fantasy's innards, but it will obviously abide by Windows Phone's strict hardware requirements, which now include support for gyroscopes and Qualcomm's MSM7X30 processor.
LG VictorAnother Gingerbread-powered phone makes it onto LG's 2011 roadmap, this time housing a 1GHz single-core processor and a 3.8-inch screen.
You can photograph some beautiful scenery with the rear-facing five-megapixel camera, or your own not-so-beautiful mug using the VGA front-facing lens.
LG Gelto NFCBesides a catchy name, the LG Gelto NFC is fully equipped with an 800MHz processor, a 3.2-inch display, and a three-megapixel camera.
As you can probably guess, it also features NFC technology, which allows you to splash the cash via touchless payment.
It's expected at some point in the final quarter of the year.
LG E2Again, very little is known about the inner workings of the LG E2, but it's expected to be a cheap entry-level phone.
That means it will carry a basic processor, a middle-of-the-road screen, and a basic camera.
You'll probably be able to snap some pics of your friends in a drunken state, but don't expect your work to be displayed next to Ansel Adams.
LG K
The LG K is all about the screen.
Possibly one of the first smartphones to boast a true 720p HD display, it's expected to rival the iPhone 4's Retina display.
