True Axis has told Pocket Gamer a few more details regarding the much-anticipated follow-up to its PG Silver Award-winning Jet Car Stunts.

Jet Car Stunts 2 will feature six selectable vehicles this time around, as well as a new ‘freestyle’ mode that swaps out the normal, edge-of-your-seat stunt racing for a trick-based score attack.

“It’s like playing a skateboarding game with a car”, is how Luke Ryan from True Axis describes the new mode, with drifts, airs, spins, rolls, flips, and grinds (yes, 'grinds’) all contributing to your tally.

There will also be a level editor with the new game, although sharing options, if any, have yet to be revealed.

No screenshots yet of the new title (the one up there is from the excellent original), but the team is “ramping up development” on the new game now.

If you haven’t already sampled the excellent original, you can download it for free from the App Store by hitting this link, or click this next link to buy it for £1.32 from the Android Market (download).
