Ex-Capcom producer Keiji Inafune bringing The Island of Dr. Momo to iPhone and Android this autumn

Keiji Inafune has obviously been busy since he left Capcom around six months ago.

At a joint press conference held by social gaming expert GREE, Index, and Inafune's new company Comcept, the ex-Capcom head announced his first game: The Island of Dr. Momo.

Available through GREE's Japanese mobile social gaming platform of the same name, the game will be a casual freemium title.

You'll take on the role of Dr Momo - lover of all things cute - in an attempt to combine fluffy animals and make the world's most cutest critter.

The Island of Dr. Momo will be available for both iOS and Android this Autumn.

Whether we see it outside Japan remains to be seen, but we can definitely keep our fingers crossed.
