Battlefield: Bad Company 2 shoots onto Xperia Play

EA Mobile has just launched the Android version of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 on the Xperia Play.

Based on the first-person shooter released on consoles earlier in the year, it features a 14 mission single-player campaign across five different zones and a host of weapons and vehicles like tanks and helicopters for you to pilot.

The controls are naturally be optimised to make good use of the shoulder buttons and touchpads on the PlayStation-certified handset.

The campaign follows enlisted soldiers Marlowe, Sweetwater, and Redford (and their squaddie banter) as they battle through jungles, deserts, and arctic snow.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is available now via the Xperia Play games section of the handset for £5.
