Welcome back to Pocket Gamer's round-up of the new mid-week iPhone and iPad releases.
On this particular Wednesday, we have more titles from publisher Chillingo, a Facebook franchise from EA, a whole host of universal apps, and plenty of other titles to get your mitts on.
All of the included games are currently available in the New Zealand App Store, so you can get your hands on them in the UK from midnight.

iPhonePet Society Vacation
EA's Pet Society Vacation sees you take your lovable critter on a glorious sun-filled vacation to a tropical island.
Once there, you decorate your houseboat to your heart's content, visit and groom friends, partake in a little scuba diving, and treat your pet to a million-dollar makeover.

Hero Teams
Hero Teams is a turn-based strategy title that tasks you with leading an army into battle against an enemy outfit. Oh, and destroying them.
To help you accomplish this, you have nearly a dozen different weapons at your disposal and 25 unlockable characters such as soldiers, cowboys, and knights.
You can also challenge your friends via Bluetooth.

P-47 The Phantom Fighter
P-47 The Phantom Fighter is a retro title from 1988, which has seen a release on the Amiga, the Atari ST, the Amstrad, the ZX Spectrum, and the Commodore 64.
Your job is to survive eight levels of action, defeat increasingly difficult bosses, and generally rule the skies during World War Two.
Game Center is present for leaderboards and achievements.

8 Ball Pool
8 Ball Pool has been played over 100 million times on Miniclip.com, and can now be played at least one more time on your iPhone.
Your aim is to simply pot as many balls as you can before you run out of time. Do that well enough and you'll earn a spot on the leaderboards.

Zombie Gunship
Zombie Gunship thrusts you into the gunner seat of an AC-130 ground attack aircraft, and tasks you with slaying endless waves of the undead using powerful weaponry.
A 25mm Gatling gun, a 40mm Bofors auto-cannon, and a 105mm Howitzer cannon can all be called upon for maximum damage.

As you can probably imagine, Feed-The-Duck involves, well, feeding a duck by helping it catch tasty fishies.
You do this over 46 levels of physics-based play. Quack.

Donuts Chaser invites you to take on the role of a cop who is chasing a donut-stealing dog through busy streets.
Your job is to avoid cars, bombs, and (strangely) aliens.

Mega Bad grants you the rare opportunity to play as the bad guys, as you try to avoid pesky heroes, various bits of shrapnel, and your own death.
Each stage of the game has its own theme, ranging from The Legend of Zelda to Star Wars, with more promised for future updates.

In One Man Army you are, unsurprisingly, a lone vigilante fighting back against an alien onslaught.
You have six zones to defend, a range of baddies to kill, and various weapons from rifles to rockets.

A Cloudy Adventure is a physics-based tale that tasks you with rescuing a kidnapped cumulonimbus going by the name of Cloudy.
You have four playable characters - each with unique skills - and ten unlockables to get your hands on.

Deadlock: Online is a 3D shooter that pits you against up to seven other players.

Dream Track Nation invites you to maximise your imagination and create crazy, colourful tracks, before racing on them OTA with friends.
If you're not exactly Neil Buchanan, you can also race around the game's 16 pre-made tracks, which are spread across Texas, Alaska, and New York.
You can drive multiple cars and even a motorbike.

Jet Set Go is a time-management title that tasks you with building a world-class travel agency.
You'll have to fly 14 varieties of customer to 12 exotic world locations, while mastering the five different styles of time-management gameplay.
There are three difficulty settings to accommodate noobs and experienced players.

Allied Star Police
Allied Star Police is a fast-paced war sim created by 9-year-old Owain Weinert and PopCap's 4th & Battery team.
As a base commander for the Allied Star Police, you have to deploy battle vehicles to destroy an alien invasion.
You'll have the chance to drop massive bombs by tapping on the screen, or fire a burning laser with your fingertips.

Leap Worm hands you control of a space worm that jumps from planet to planet collecting stars, worm extenders, and blue orbs.
