Cut the Rope to get 25 levels, new gameplay mechanics in 'Toy Box' update

ZeptoLab's Cut the Rope has already enjoyed three updates (and one standalone ‘Holiday Gift’) since its release in October 2010, and now the developer has given us a sneak peek at its newest batch of candy swinging content, centred on a new ‘Toy Box’.

The Toy Box will include 25 new levels to finger-slice through, including new bouncy gameplay mechanics that involve ricocheting the elusive candy around the screen and into the adorable hero Om Nom’s gob.

There are also hidden drawings in every box to unlock and discover, and a Star Key which will enable those less skilful among us to access every box in the game.

If you're unfamiliar with the excellent Cut the Rope, essentially you do exactly what the title tells you to: use your finger to slice ropes in such a way that a candy makes its way into the mouth of Om Nom.

The update is "coming soon" according to publisher Chillingo. Check out the trailer for the Toy Box below and the Om Nom plush toys - which will be available from September - in the image gallery to the right.
