Capcom's popular Monster Hunter franchise 'probably' coming to Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita

Capcom's popular Monster Hunter franchise 'probably' coming to Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita

If you're a fan of Capcom's popular Monster Hunter series, you'll be pleased to learn that you may soon be able to get your action fix on your 3DS and PS Vita.

In a recent interview with MEGamers, Capcom Europe's COO David Reeves hinted at the possibility of a new handheld title in the franchise.

"I think down the road, you could probably see a Monster Hunter iteration somewhere. Probably on both [Nintendo 3DS & PlayStation Vita]."

If a title does happen to emerge we hope it's a darn sight better than Capcom's recent iPhone offering, which only managed a disappointing 5/10 at review.

Exploring the wild

The Monster Hunter series is yet to grace any of Nintendo's handhelds, instead appearing on the PSP as the platform's bestselling title in Japan.

Monster Hunter Freedom 3 is also expected to launch for Sony's PSP in Europe 'soon'.
