Ever since Nintendo launched 3D TV on the Nintendo 3DS in Japan last month, we've been saying a little prayer each night that the concept would venture across the water to our dear sweet continent.

It seems like our prayers have been answered, as the cleverly named Nintendo Video is set to launch in Europe this Wednesday, July 13th, according to Nintendo 3DS Blog.

What can we expect from this brand new service? We'll apparently we getting weekly episodes of Oscar’s Oasis, a Disney Channel cartoon, that will be available in stereoscopic 3D.

How do cartoons work in stereoscopic 3D? Colour us intrigued. There'll also be a selection of country-specific content, with documentaries based around nature, science, travel and other such topics.

We'll bring you our first impressions as soon as we've had a chance to check it out.
