Cross-platform MMORPG Star Legends: The Blackstar Chronicles now in limited Android beta

Spacetime Studios's latest foray into the world of massively multiplayer games has been in limited beta for just over 24 hours.

To join to limited beta and get your hands on an early version of Star Legends: The Blackstar Chronicles, you had to own a Verizon device and the V Cast apps service, or win a beta key from a selection of Android websites.

Since the beginning of the beta Spacetime Studios has updated the space RPG three times, mostly with bug fixes. However, new sound effects for bosses and new character emotes have also seen the light of day.

The testing period for Star Legends: The Blackstar Chronicles comes to an end on July 20th, and if everything goes swimmingly the game will seemingly be released shortly afterwards.

Pocket Gamer got its first look at the iPhone, iPad, and Android follow-up to the popular Pocket Legends at this year's GDC.
