Gameloft to provide free launch titles for LG Optimus 3D
Asphalt 6, Let's Golf! 2 and N.O.V.A. preloaded onto all devices
Gameloft has fired a salvo in the 3D smartphone war today with an announcement that it'll be providing LG's new Optimus 3D smartphone with a heaping of 17 3D-enabled launch titles.
In addition, it'll be pre-installing three of them - Asphalt 6: Adrenaline, Let's Golf! 2, and N.O.V.A. - onto every LG Optimus 3D.
When we went hands-on with the Optimus 3D back in February we came away a bit concerned. Dodgy games and iffy 3D combined to make something less than stellar.
And while the LG Optimus 3D may be one the first 3D smartphones to hit the market, it certainly won't be the last. HTC's Evo 3D is en route, and Motorola and Sharp are eagerly preparing their own responses.
