MapleStory: Cygnus Knights Edition, the iOS follow up to the spin off (still following?) of Wizet's glutinously popular MapleStory MMO, is available on App Store tonight for £2.99/$4.99/€3.99.

The game is an offline side-scrolling adventure. Ordinarily describing a game as being 'offline' may seem odd, but it was this element that left its predecessor feeling stale and hollow, particularly to those used to the MMO version.

This edition appears to be more of the same. Considering we had major reservations about its predecessor, MapleStory: Thief Edition, this may not be a good thing.

Nonetheless, we'll reserve judgement until we review it. In the meantime, have a gander at the trailer to see for yourself.
