Twisted Pixel gets over Capcom clone dispute by developing new iPhone game

After the furore over Capcom's alleged plagiarism of its 'Splosion Man game, Twisted Pixel is now developing something entirely new.

Twisted Pixel's CEO Mike Wilford revealed in a podcast interview with Touch Arcade that the company is working specifically on an iOS title, mentioning that there's “a lot of fun stuff” it could do on mobile with its back catalogue. Which is nice.

What this "stuff" is, or even what the game will be called, remains unknown, but it seems that the aforementioned Twisted Metal v Capcom dispute has whipped the former into a creative frenzy.

Wilford also told Touch Arcade that the copyright controversy “lit a fire under our butts to give [iOS development] a try and see if we can make something there.”

More news, or rather some news, when we get it.
