Kyro's Pokemon-alike GeoSociety rolls onto iPhone
Breed and micro-manage 350 monsters
If you've ever seen or played Pokemon on DS, Kyro's newly released iPhone RPG GeoSociety will look strikingly familiar.
There are monsters aplenty - 350, in fact - to catch, train, and battle in GeoSociety, while its top-down perspective and polished SNES-era graphics are almost identical to Pokemon's.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the control mechanism, which takes up a large proportion of the iPhone's touchscreen.
According to a post on the TouchArcade forum, though, the developer is already on the case, with an update in the pipeline to resolve the overlay issue.
That's not all - Kyro proceeds to explain that this imminent update should include online trading and a wholesale orientation switch to landscape.
GeoSociety is out now on the App Store for £1.19 / $1.99 / €1.59.
