HandyGames isn’t one to rest on its laurels.

Following the release of Happy Vikings just the other week, the German mobile publisher / developer has announced that a sequel to Pocket Gamer Silver Award-winnning tower defence title Guns ‘n’ Glory is in the pipeline for Xperia Play, other Android devices, and iPhone.

Guns ‘n’ Glory WW2 takes place this time, predictably, during World War 2, although it isn’t exactly an accurate replication of the largest conflict this planet has ever seen.

Instead, you can expect as cartoony a take on this serious subject as the original game mustered, with your bunch of wacky (yes, I used the word ‘wacky’) soldiers taking apart the evil ‘not Nazis’ Nazis.

No further details are forthcoming about the title right now, but hopefully we’ll have a few more nuggets of information from our boys on the showroom floor at E3 a bit later.
