The worm has turned, it seems.

Having been the recipient of Kairosoft’s (Game Dev Story, Hot Springs Story) earlier titles months after their iPhone release, Android users now have the chance of playing a new title first with the release of Grand Prix Story on the Android Market today.

Grand Prix Story packs in the familar art style of the Japanese developer’s previous two games, but this time focuses on the high-adrenaline, high-risk world of motorsport.

You’re not the driver, but the team manager - responsible for making sure your crew takes the crown at the end of the season by grabbing sponsors, developing parts for the car, and (hopefully) winning races.

Given the pedigree behind Grand Prix Story - both Game Dev Story and Hot Springs Story picked up Pocket Gamer Silver Awards on release - we’re rather excited about this one.

If you can’t wait for our review, you can pick up the title now from the Android Market for £3.04 (download).
