Sword and Sworcery summer solstice surprise in store?

The official blog for splendid iOS curio Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP suggests that there may be a fresh surprise in store in a fortnight's time.
"[T]he summer solstice is June 21st...I wonder what will happen?", the blog's most recent post cryptically asks.
Fresh content via an update? Or will something buried within the game suddenly unlock? Given the game's use of lunar cycles to control player progress, we wouldn't be surprised if it was the latter.
The hint comes at the end of a post celebrating the game's inventive use of Twitter, with the hashtag #sworcery featuring in over 200,000 Tweets worldwide.
Coincidentally, that figure tallies with the impressive sales of Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP hitherto, as 200,000 downloads of the title have been grabbed from the App Store since its launch two months ago.
A collaboration between Canada-based dev teams Superbrothers and Capybara games, Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP earned a Pocket Gamer Silver Award on its April release.
