E3 2011: Luigi's Mansion 2 announced for 3DS

The surprise 3DS announcement of the Nintendo E3 show (so far) is that a whole new Luigi's Mansion is coming to the handheld.
While the first in the series acted as a launch title for the GameCube, Luigi's Mansion 2 is a whole new story, featuring new gameplay mechanics and stereoscopic 3D visuals.
The game doesn't just give you one new mansion, oh no - there are multiple mansions available to navigate, according to the publisher.
No release date was given, but we'd guess it's going to be coming in 2012.
