How to get the legendary Pokemon in the 3DS Pokedex! Free AR Markers inside
Gotta scan 'em all
Forget trawling through knee-high grass and spelunking in dingy caves: the recently released Pokedex app for 3DS lets you unlock new critters simply by scanning AR codes.
Hit 'AR Viewer' in the settings, point your 3DS camera at a code, and the new monster will appear on the screen (and be added to your 'dex).
Nintendo has some strict rules to stop you filling out all 150 pocket monsters on the first day, though. New Pokemon will be added daily, and you'll download three free monsters each morning. You also can't scan in AR codes of monsters that aren't available yet.
Right now, however, you can get your grubby mitts on six super secret, legendary critters. And we've got the codes to prove it.
Scan these six AR markers into your device to add mammoth 'mons like Zekrom and Reshiram to your collection.
