Dead Space iOS updated with new Survival mode, Heavy Pulse Rifle
Plus big gun for extra measure
Fans of de-limbing hordes of necromorphs with a variety of engineering tools and space-age weaponry will be delighted to hear that Dead Space for iPhone and iPad has a flashy new update.
As well as sampling the delights of the original Story mode, you can now tackle Survival mode, earning extra credits to buy weapons and whatnot in the game.
Among these weapons is the brand new Heavy Pulse Rifle, which you can also buy with real cash via in-app purchase.
The update also brings the new Nightmare difficulty level, wherein you can only replenish health between levels.
To top it all off, Dead Space is half price on iPad and better than half price on iPhone to commemorate Memorial Day.
