iPhone 5 rumoured for WWDC

Apple slows down production of iPhone 4 to prepare the way?

iPhone 5 rumoured for WWDC

Apple's iPhone-dedicated PR department has apparently been sending out invitations to selected journalists to attend Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in San Francisco next month.

If that is the case - for I haven't received one yet - a dash of deductive thinking and a smattering of pure childish optimism leave us with the sense that iPhone 5 may be announced at WWDC.

The fact that Apple has also apparently slowed down production on iPhone 4 in preparation for a new model seems to corroborate the notion.

As for what to expect with the iPhone 5 (or 'iPhone 4S', depending on who you believe), we reckon it's a safe bet that it'll house better cameras, an A5 dual-core processor, and offer HSPA+ support for faster downloads.

Whether or not Steve Jobs himself will be presenting the keynote at WWDC is still unknown. Apple and its secrets, eh.
