A critical success when released at the tail end of 2010, Barry Kostjens' Push Panic demonstrated (once again) the power of physics in the casual puzzle genre.

Indeed, as Tracy commented, giving a Pocket Gamer Silver award; "Cleverly taking the colour-matching mechanics of a match-three puzzler and twisting them with physics, it's a fresh distraction ideal for filling in a few minutes."

And we have more good news if the $1.99 price tag was holding you back. Push Panic Free has just been released, providing 15 brand-new levels in which you can test out its chromatic combinations.

The full game offers 75 levels and 4 distinct game modes.

"I feel Push Panic Free will allow users to give it a try, completely risk free," said developer Kostjens.

"Back in January, we made Push Panic free for one day only and received an amazing 137,000 downloads. I'm excited to see what a permanent free version will garner."
