Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit pits for iPhone and iPad update

iPhone and iPad Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit racers can now compete with their high-speed chums in a new fashion, thanks to the latest update from Electronic Arts.

In version 1.0.3 of EA's cops and robbers driving sim, players can compare and contrast times with friends, track their progress, and challenge them mid-race using the Autolog feature.

On registering for Autolog (through EA.com's online portal), racers will also receive an in-game $100k bounty reward.

The new Autolog integration complements the existing Bluetooth and local wi-fi multiplayer options in Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is available on the App Store now for £2.99 / $4.99 / €3.99 on both iPhone and iPad, representing a 50 per cent saving on the HD model.
