[UPDATE - it's out now] Tweet tweet - Rovio confirms Angry Birds Rio update for Android this Friday
Jewel no longer feel Blu
iOS users have been playing the latest Angry Birds Rio update Beach Volley for a while now, but Android owners have had to be patient while waiting for it to land on the Market.
It’s been available on the Amazon Appstore for six days, but those steadfastly refusing to deal with the popular online retailer have been struggling with its absence from their usual downloadable port of call.
Thanks to Twitter user Jesper Bagger, however, we now have a concrete date for its Android arrival, and that’s tomorrow - or Friday 20th May to put it another way. “[It] will be out before end of day Friday,” confirmed Rovio in response to Bagger’s question as to the May update’s whereabouts.
[UPDATE: The Beach Volley update has now gone live, a day earlier than expected.]
