Hot Springs Story and Game Dev Story get price cuts on iPhone and Android

Japanese developer Kairosoft is promoting the Android launch of resource-management sim Hot Springs Story by cutting the prices of Hot Springs Story on iPhone and Game Dev Story on both iPhone and Android.

For those yet to fall prey to its addictive allure, Game Dev Story gives you control of a software development studio as you attempt to earn both critical acclaim and commercial success. Hot Springs Story, meanwhile, sees you manage a traditional Japanese onsen, with the objective of attracting famous visitors to relax in your resort.

As we reported recently, Kairosoft has two further management sims on the way, with English language versions of School of Pocket and The Game Dealer currently in development. Both titles are currently available on the Japanese App Store and scheduled for an international release at an “undecided” time.

In the meantime, Game Dev Story is now available for just 59p on iOS, or £1.47 for Android handsets, while Hot Springs Story will set you back a still modest £1.19 and £2.95 respectively. Both titles come highly recommended, having picked up Pocket Gamer Silver Awards. The offer is available for a limited period only, so snap them up now if you haven’t done so already.
