Capcom's infamous social outing Smurfs' Village has been updated in celebration of Easter.

Included in the update is a new Easter egg hunt feature, which allows you to leave painted eggs in your friends' villages for them to find. You can also have the big blue bunny in your village for a limited time.

New spring flower boxes have also been added which - from level 14 - can be built, tended, and harvested for huge amounts of XP. Twinned with this feature is the ability to water your friends' flowers and share seeds to unlock whole new varieties.

Finally, you can now purchase a young Nat through the Smurfberry tab, who will unlock all flowers, seeds, and special lillies, and gift an XP bonus to blooming flowers that surround his hut.

Getting down to it

Smurfs' Village tasks you with creating a new village for your Smurfs to call home, starting with just a single mushroom house and a patch of land.

Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Lazy Smurf, Baby Smurf, Handy Smurf, and Jokey Smurf are all on hand, with various special mini-games to play.

You can also connect with friends and send gifts through Facebook and Game Center.

Smurfs' Village is available as a universal app for free.
