Bang Bang Racing THD coming soon to Tegra 2 Android devices
Watch out, Micro Machines
Liverpool developer Playbox has today annouced its upcoming game Bang Bang Racing THD for Tegra 2-equipped Android devices.
The game marks the start of a new direction for Playbox, which is now looking to move into the 'super phone' market.
The game's already been a hit on XBLA and PSN. For those not familiar, it's a top-down cartoon racer, full of squat sports cars and crash-happy knockabout gameplay. Think Micro Machines, but with a serious lick of THD paint.
Playbox claims that despite the game's arcade looks, Bang Bang Racing THD contains "the pumping heart of a true racing game".
The Android version will also feature a unique control style, effectively allowing you to draw a line for your car to follow, rather than steer.
There's no official word on a release date yet, which will land on Nvidia Tegrazone, but here's a trailer to keep you going, or check out the game's Facebook page.
