Get Outta My Galaxy! gets virtual control stick, 'big content update' incoming

Get Outta My Galaxy!, the hilariously off-beat action puzzler from Ookhooko, has been updated.

If you're not familiar with this quirky iOS title, it involves roaming around cartoon planetoids swatting cute creatures with your oversized palms.

The update fixes a few minor technical niggles and addresses player feedback on the original version, adding a virtual stick option to the default tilt control setup.

Ookhooko has promised another bigger content update in the near future, which will "deepen the gaming experience and boost the replay value."

This comes as welcome news because, as our own Keith Andrew noted in his Get Outta My Galaxy! review, longevity and challenge are the only issues holding this game back.

The developer also hinted that an iPad version is in the works.
