When I was first alerted to Spotcat Studio's game Upskirt!, the title of my article suggested that it might have issues getting onto the App Store.

"Are the moral guardians of the App Store ready for Upskirt?," I pondered.

Indeed, they were not, which is why the Philippines-based developer has finally decided to release its game on the unofficial Cydia Apple app store via the Xsellize repository.

Don't try this at home

Of course, the issue with the game is that it involves you using your finger to flip the skirts of young ladies - technically robot young ladies - so you can see their underwear.

Still, as Spotcat has informed us; 'We have created the story in a way that the main character has to flip the skirts of the robots to destroy them. Master Poupou was forced out of prison to defend Earth, since he is the master of skirt flipping. It's the only way to save the world."

It sounds so reasonably now.

Anyhooo, if you want to see what it's all about, the Story mode consists of 20 levels, there's an Endless mode, and also 16 achievements and a bonus character to unlock.

Upskirt! is free but you'll have to jailbreak your iPhone/iPad to access Cydia and install it; something Pocket Gamer doesn't recommend unless you're an adult who knows what they're doing.

It also seems that the game has undergone some design changes, as you can see when comparing the original video (below), and the video of the game as available on Cydia (bottom).
