The developer of the darked-edge iOS title Papa Sangre, Somethin’ Else, appears to have submitted a new title to the App Store.

The Nightjar looks to be the title of the game according to the Papa Sangre Twitter feed, but any other details are few and far between.

The aforementioned Twitter account does link to another feed titled 'Nightjar Computer,' however, which is dominated by oblique and unclear posts.

Many of the tweets are focused on what seems to be an spacecraft named The Nightjar, with reports of a crew inside whose morale is slowly draining.

There are also several updates about when the ships will arrive at its destination, with the vessel "three weeks" from arriving on April 9th. That would see it going live on April 30th.

The plot thickens. Two other Twitter feeds, Night Owl Computer and The Night Watch, claim they are accompanying The Nightjar to the collapsed star Black Dog.

Little else aside from these details is known, but the game is looking to be as odd and claustrophobic as Papa Sangre.

Papa Sangre sees you negotiating a world populated with monsters by using just your ears. There are no graphics - just a real-time 3D audio engine to help you escape the unseen terrors. Despite this strange setup, it was critically adored by many, garnering an 8.8 score on our sister site iPhone Quality Index.

We’ve contacted the Somethin’ Else team for further details on The Nightjar.
