Championship Manager 1980s Legends brings football nostalgia to iPhone

Football fans are often guilty of looking at their team’s past with rose-tinted glasses in an effort to escape their current side’s struggles.

Square Enix is keen to tap into this nostalgia and offer fans of clubs such as Liverpool, Everton, and even Luton Town a chance to relive their glory days with the release of Championship Manager 1980s Legends on iPhone.

This special edition of the football management sim features the teams and the players that graced football during the decade as well as specially styled visuals, photos, and news stories to help recreate the atmosphere of the '80s.

You can select from three starting points during the decade, allowing you to pinpoint the moment in history you wish to recreate or rewrite.

Game Center and OpenFeint support is included - although, mercifully, the tight shorts have been left in the past.
