Highborn for Android available exclusively through the Amazon Appstore
High and mighty
Highborn, the comedy turn-based strategy game from Jet Set Games, has been released on the Android platform exclusively through the Amazon Appstore.
The game is the second big name exclusive to arrive on the service, following in the huge, three-toed footsteps of Angry Birds Rio.
Highborn puts you in charge of Highborn - a hero whose pearly white morals are matched only by his pearly white teeth - as he and his band of misfits and cannon fodder (normal troops) attempt to destroy various evil-doers across a slightly deranged fantasy world.
It’s turn-based, somewhat in the style of Advance Wars - albeit a tad simpler in execution - where battles are shown as cut-away 3D animations and special (and not so special) troops recruited by liberating important buildings dotted around the various maps.
Highborn for Android is available to download now from the Amazon Appstore for $0.99 (link). Annoyingly, that means any non-US owners will have to sit this one out.
