Angry Mob Games has released the first update to Guerrilla Bob for Android designed to fix a number of minor issues and support for the Nexus One’s trackball, as well as adding support for manual stick control.

This latter feature should be a welcome addition for multi-touch Android users (that’s pretty much everyone now I would have thought, given that the game doesn’t even run on ancient hardware like the G1), as it means you can now use a second-stick for aiming.

Guerrilla Bob sans twin-stick support scored a disappointing ‘6’ in our review published yesterday, whereas the twin-stick iPhone version managed to nab a Pocket Gamer Silver Award. It’s probably safe to say the game is now closer to the latter score now.

Guerrilla Bob for Android is out now on the Android Market priced at £1.84/$3.99.
