3DS AR Cards app available for Android

While the Nintendo 3DS Augmented Reality games are a great way to show off the handheld's capabilities to a friend, having to carry the AR cards around with you is a bit of a pain.

If you've got an Android phone, however, then here's an app you should definitely check out, spotted by GoNintendo.

The 3DS AR Cards app puts digital versions of the physical AR cards on your Android screen, allowing you to play the AR games using your Android as the focus point.

All six picture cards are included, and better still it's completely free to download. You can even use your Android as a second AR card, allowing you to make two Marios, two Kirbys, etc.

Of course, you could just find a picture of each AR card online and blow it up to fill your Android screen - which is essentially what this app is doing - but it's a lot less effort this way.
