Japanese publisher AQ Interactive announced earlier this month that it was to release Cubic Ninja, the first 3D-less Nintendo 3DS game, in Japan and North America later this year.

Europe was seemingly left out in the cold.

Until now. Ubisoft revealed today that it will be bringing the game to Europe, with a release expected some time this summer, reports Eurogamer.

Cubic Ninja won't make use of the 3DS's 3D capabilities. Instead it'll use the handheld's gyroscope, with players tilting the console to move the ninja around a series of tough levels.

With over 100 stages to carefully whip your way through, not to mention a level editor for creating your own tricky puzzles, this is one to watch.
