Telltale Games has apparently revealed to AppAdvice that it plans to take advantage of the iPad 2's more powerful hardware by releasing separate iPad 2 versions of its games.

The studio is best known for its point-and-click adventures, built with its own game engine, which is too powerful for iOS devices. This is evident in, for example, Back to the Future Episode 1 HD, which suffers from occasional slow-down and general poor performance.

Telltale has already released numerous games for iOS, including the popular Monkey Island Tales. Updates for those are apparently incoming.
