It’s no secret that Microsoft is planning a series of updates in improve Windows Phone 7 - that is, after all, what all major mobile operating systems tend to do.

The first, NoDo, last rumoured to be rolling out from tomorrow, is the one that many are keenly waiting for, especially as it adds copy-and-paste functionality to the new platform and a host of performance enchancements.

However, those eagerly awaiting the ability to multitask are in for a disappointment, as sources speaking to WindowsITPro suggest that this feature (rumoured to be in an update entitled ‘Mango’) won’t be arriving on WP7 devices until early 2012.

In other WP7 update news, Microsoft now claims via the Official Windows Phone 7 blog to have fixed the issue that was causing the ‘February update’ to mess up on Samsung Omnia 7 handsets, and it is now rolling out this version to handsets around the world.
