Warner Bros. drafts iPhone and iPad remake Tapper World Tour
Animator Don Bluth revamping arcade time management game
Warner Bros. is drafting a remake of old arcade game Root Beer Tapper exclusively for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.
Entitled Tapper World Tour, this new iteration of the time management game has you keeping patrons' mugs full of grog and clearing empty ones in good time.
As the title makes clear, you travel to different spots around the globe serving thirsty customers that approach at three bars. The goal is to quickly serve each patron to keep the queue moving and customer satisfaction high.
Animator Don Bluth, famous for his work on films The Land Before Time and An American Tale is working with Warner Bros. and developer Square One to craft a new style for the game.
Tapper World Tour will be available for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad in early spring (March or April); no price has yet been announced.
