It might not have the sales to set the market on fire just yet, but according to reports from Microsoft, over 93 per cent of Windows Phone 7 customers would recommend the phone to others.

The high satisfaction rate prompted Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer to claim the OS is “already creating evangelists” - hardcore fans of the four month old mobile platform.

For existing 'evangelists' there was news that Internet Explorer 9 would come in its entirety to WP7, allowing for full internet browsing, along with full Twitter integration into the live tiles setup.

The bad news for WP7 users was that the company remained cagey about the exact date for deployment of all these new features, settling with a tentative '2011'.
