An enhanced remake of old skool side-scrolling brawler Double Dragon is making its way to the App Store.

Developed by Brizo Interactive, Double Dragon has you taking on the roles of martial arts experts Billy and Jimmy, who have to rescue Marian, a hostage of the Black Warriors.

This involves fighting your way through hordes of thugs.

Enhancements include a brand-new remixed music track, all new art, and remade character sprites. New attacks, enemies, and bosses are also included, with achievements and extra characters added as unlockables.

To round up the additions, an easy to use on-screen controller and combo system has been implemented, with Bluetooth multiplayer allowing friends to team up.

Double Dragon will be available on the App Store some time in March. A price is yet to be announced.
