Evil scientists around the world have teamed up and meshed their malicious super-brains into a single, uber-villainous League of Evil. It’s up to you to leap, flip, wall-jump, and double jump through 60 stages to beat them all up.

That’s pretty much the entire plot of Cave Run developer Ravenous Games’s pixel-art platformer League of Evil, which has been receiving some impressive early comments praising the game’s responsive controls.

The retro-styled game is all about acrobatics - with wall leaps and double jumps - multiple locations - including cities and pyramids - and decapitations - as you pixel-punch a dude’s block off. It also matches its vintage game graphics with bleepy-bloopy chiptune music.

You can unlock achievements through both OpenFeint and Game Center. There’s also a free lite version to try. The full game, out now on iPhone and iPod touch, is 59p / 99c / €0.79c.
