Today, you can cast your vote on the 2011 Independent Games Festival audience awards.

While the main prizes for indie games are judged by a selection of top gaming jurors, this prestigious prize is decided by the unwashed masses like me and you.

Self-published games on PC and Mac, like spooky Amnesia and world-building Minecraft, obviously make up much of the list. But plenty of creative and arty iPhone favourites appear too, and need your votes.

There’s zany music-game Bit.Trip Beat, beautiful puzzle game Colorbind, upcoming one-button game Faraway, game-instrument hybrid Halcyon, Ratloop’s light-based puzzler Helsing’s Fire, minimalistic iPad dueling game Shot Shot Shoot and addictive ski-game Solipskier.

You only get to vote for one game, so make your choice count. Voting will be open until Friday, February 18th, and all the winners will be announced on March 2nd at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco.
