Pocket Gamer iPhone and iPad gaming podcast episode 112 - Mobile Games Forum 2011 Special

It’s an extra-special podcast this week, recorded just after the closing speeches of the Mobile Games Forum 2011 in London.

Will and Jon discuss what the main themes coming out from the event were. We look at what developers, publishers, carriers, and phone manufacturers thought about the future of mobile, and try to explain what a ‘whale’ is.

We’ve also managed to rustle up interviews with some of the most important people in the mobile gaming industry, who talk about what they thought was the most interesting thing to come out from this year’s event.

We’ll be back with the Rumour Miner and the What We’ve Been Playing Fields next week, but, for now, enjoy this (a little poorly recorded) extra special episode.

Will's obsession with gaming started off with sketching Laser Squad levels on pads of paper, but recently grew into violently shouting "Tango Down!" at random strangers on the street. He now directs that positive energy into his writing (due in no small part to a binding court order).
