Nintendo's Iwata discusses NGP and 3DS plans
Firmware update planned for May
Nintendo held its quarterly earnings briefing in Tokyo today, and CEO Satoru Iwata had a few things to say when asked about Sony’s NGP, which was announced yesterday.
When asked about the forthcoming competitor to Nintendo’s 3DS, Iwata said “They’re trying to appeal to customers from a different direction than us. The customers will decide which is correct.”
He was also asked what Nintendo would be doing to counter the threat of the NGP, to which he repliedtext1"> “Arial;color:black;mso-themecolor:text1">Nintendo is not the kind of company that thinks about how we oppose (an)other company's product."
