PSP games receive January reductions on PlayStation Store

Sony has conjured up a cure for those winter blues with a New Year's sale on the PlayStation Store.

The company has slashed the prices of a selection of its PSP games, along with a selection from Konami, Rockstar and THQ.

Headlining the sale is Metal Gear Sold: Peace Walker. The PSP exclusive entry into the classic stealth series is now just £15.99 having been £31.99 previously. The game received a prestigious Gold Award when it was reviewed earlier this year, with Ben Maxwell calling it an “essential purchase for anyone who owns a PSP”.

GTA: Chinatown Wars has also received the cut price treatment with a reduction from £27.99 to £11.99. The third Grand Theft Auto game to be released on the PSP also received a Gold Award from us when it was reviewed last year.

Other games to be reduced include Half-Minute Hero and Harvest Moon: Hero of Leaf Valley. All special offers are available from 19th January until 2nd February. Sony
