Nintendo has published a new webpage on its UK site for the 3DS, ahead of its planned teaser press event in Amsterdam next week.

The new page features an image of a 3DS, underlined by the phrase, "See it. 2011". Strangely, there's also an option to rate the page content from 1-5 at the bottom.

It's unclear what Nintendo wants us to see, other than the image of the handheld console itself, but the timing suggests a tie-in with the Holland event.

The 3DS is scheduled for release at the end of February in Japan, while the rest of the world will have to wait until March to get their hands on Nintendo's new device.

We'll be keeping a vigilant watch on the mysterious page and will inform you of any new update just as soon as we see it.
