PES 2011 confirmed for Windows Phone 7 release

Konami has announced that mobile footy sim, Pro Evolution Soccer 2011, will be making its way to Windows Phone 7 early this year.

Thanks to a specially devised control scheme that's suited to the mobile operating system, you’ll be able to pull off passes, through-balls, inter-changes and goal-scoring shots all through thumb twiddling gestures.

The level of control you have over the game is set through the “true flow” mechanic, letting the game help you out with AI-supported controls, or take the reins with a more conventional onscreen button layout.

Like the big brother console versions, and its iPhone counterpart, PES 2011 will feature UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League modes.

The game also boasts online support through Xbox Live for online leaderboards, and achievements for your gamercard.
