iPhone Quality index: Real Racing 2 and Papa Sangre are the most acclaimed games in December
|

Pocket Gamer sister site Quality index tirelessly trawled the best review sites on the planet throughout December - even putting in a shift on Christmas Day - to bring you the definitive list of iPhone games.

She seeks no thanks for this mammoth endeavour, but asks merely that you pay close attention to the chart. And then comment on the rundown in the forum below. Politely, please.

So, courtesy of 148Apps, Pocket Gamer, Gamezebo, IGN, Slide to Play, and the like, Qi now brings you the cream of the December gaming crop.

Sonic boom

A late entrant onto the App Store grid this month, Somethin' Else's "sonic iPhone horror game" Papa Sangre overtook Firemint's Real Racing 2 on the home straight, collecting two spookily brilliant reviews from the critic's pit lane for a 9.6 Qi rating.

Another blockbuster sequel N.O.V.A. 2 went toe-to-toe and shotgun-to-sword with the spellbinding Infinity Blade lower down the Qi games chart, the latter coming off marginally better in the duelling review stakes.

Plenty of magic elsewhere on the Qi leaderboard, as Trouble Brothers's boardgame Wizard Hex cast a wand or six over the competition, while Qi suspects the maker of Nostradamus The Last Prophecy Part 1 had an inkling about its future success.
