Gameloft joins the Christmas sales fray with 21 59p iPhone and iPad games
3 days to grab a bargain
The phenomenon of widespread sales on the App Store during public holidays is nothing new, but EA managed to up the ante this Christmas by putting the majority of its iPhone and iPad catalogue on sale for 59p last week.
Nobody has yet managed to match EA's loss-leading generosity, and Gameloft's effort probably won't worry the FIFA and Mirror's Edge publisher, not least because Gameloft's sale is only due to last three days.
Still, it's no good looking a gift horse in the mouth. There are one or two crackers on Gameloft's list, including Zombie Infection and the excellent Let's Golf! 2. Not bad for 59p / 99c.
