GT Racing: Motor Academy out now on Android

Continuing its latest splurge of Android 'HD' conversions, Gameloft has released GT Racing: Motor Academy.

Released way back at the beginning of the year on iPhone, the game is a bit of a hybrid between Gran Turismo-style real-car collecting and a surprisingly arcadey handling model.

We rather liked it on both iPhone and Ovi.

GT Racing: Motor Academy boasts more than 100 real-life cars from 25 manufacturers. According to Gameloft you’ll have 14 varied tracks to race them around, “including the iconic Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, as well as urban and even rally tracks.”

The game also features local and online multiplayer for up to six players.

As ever with Gameloft, you can only purchase its Android HD range from the company’s own online shop. It’ll set you back £3.00.

Be warned – it’s a seriously hefty download, so make sure you’ve got plenty of space (the iPhone version weighs in at 512MB) and a wi-fi connection to hand.
